Privacy Policy

This policy covers the Grilla Poker iPhone app, the website at grillapoker.com, and shared hand links at app.grillapoker.com.

1. What we collect

Your account. When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your email address and name from that provider. Sign-in is handled by our authentication provider, Clerk.

What you put in the app. Your quiz answers and results, daily quiz history, training progress, the live sessions you log (stakes, results, times, venues and notes), bomb pots, and the hands you log with their notes.

Purchases. Memberships are bought and billed through Apple’s App Store. Apple processes the payment; we never see your card details. We receive confirmation of your subscription status so we can unlock membership features.

The waitlist. If you join the waitlist on our website or a shared hand page, we store your email address and, from a shared hand page, which shared hand you were viewing.

Technical data. To protect the service from abuse, we keep a one-way hash of your IP address for a short time for rate limiting. We don’t use advertising trackers, and the website doesn’t set tracking cookies.

Stored only on your phone. Live player notes and the daily quiz reminder stay on your device and are never sent to us.

2. How we use it

To run the app: show your training, reports and session history, and keep them in sync across your devices.
To unlock and manage your membership.
To email you, rarely: about your account, important changes, and, if you joined the waitlist, once when the app is on the App Store.
To keep the service secure and prevent misuse.

We don’t sell your data, and we don’t use it for advertising.

3. Shared hands

When you share a hand, anyone with the link can view the hand and its public notes. Private notes are never shown on shared links. Deleting the hand, or your account, stops the link working.

Only the service providers we need to run Grilla Poker:

Clerk, for sign-in and account management
Apple, for App Store purchases and Sign in with Apple
Our hosting and database providers, which store the data on our behalf

We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account exists. When you delete your account, we permanently delete your quiz history, hand logs, sessions and reports. Waitlist emails are kept until the launch email is sent; email us to be removed sooner.

6. Your choices and rights

Delete your account in the app: More → Account → Delete Account.
Get a copy of your data, correct it, or ask us to delete it by emailing support@grillapoker.com.
Export your sessions to CSV at any time from the app.

7. Children

Grilla Poker is not intended for anyone under 18. If we learn that a minor has given us personal data, we’ll delete it.

8. Changes to this policy

If we make significant changes, we’ll tell you in the app or by email before they take effect.
